I prefer the unbreakable ones.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nylon it is, I've been relying on Jim Dunlop 0.60 and 0.73 picks since day one (about 15 years ago)

I've used KISS pick a few time when I couldn'T find the others but I wouldn't on stage
When playing a bit of lead guitar in the past, I was starting to really like Dunlop Nylon JAZZ III picks. I think they are like 2mm tick.

Ever tried those baimun?

The Jazz picks are great when you're doing articulate stuff..... but when I'm banging away on my bass-string-equipped guitars I usually need a better grip on the picks or they pop out of my hand. I grip the 1.5 mm picks with my thumb and middle finger and let the index finger ride on the top edge to help articulate.

I tuck my ring and pinky fingers underneath... and lower my ring finger down like landing gear onto the string to create touch harmonics.

Some people think it's really weird, but since I'm self taught, that was how I figured out how to do pinch harmonics. Later when I saw people using the side of their thumbs, I thought "Boy... that seems really inefficient compared to my way. I don't even need to move the muting edge of my hand from the back of the bridge." [img]tongue.gif[/img]
